UNM Students, Faculty and Staff are eligible for a free monthly pass to ride the City of Albuquerque bus system.
Students must provide a printout of their current class schedule and faculty and staff must provide an expanded
online directory record and a sticker will be placed on their Lobo ID by going to the following locations:

UNM Bookstore
UNM Medical Bookstore (North Campus)
Student Union Building (Welcome Desk & Lobo Card Store)

Parking & Transportation Services provides parking permits, shuttle transportation and other services to keep
UNM moving. UNM campus parking is by paid permit, paid meters, or paid hourly gated parking at the visitor
parking structure or visitor lot. Permits may be obtained online at www.unm.edu/parking. Parking Services
provides enforcement from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays,
summer session and academic breaks. This means valid permit display and meter payment are required during
these hours. Parking services does enforce during academic breaks (such as spring break, winter break), but
does not enforce on University Holidays (Thanksgiving, 4th of July, etc.). Courtesy shuttles for the G, T, and
South lots operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on
Fridays, during summer session and academic breaks. The Redondo shuttle operates Monday through Friday
from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please visit their website for a map of our shuttle routes, and more information on

Security Escort Services (277-2241)
Escort service is available for security purposes through the UNM Police Department. This service is confined
to the area between Gibson Blvd. to the south, Carlisle Blvd. to the east, I-25 to the west, and Indian School
Road to the north, but is available 24 hours a day.
